About Geoffrey

         Based out of Los Angeles California, Geoff works both as a costume artisan as well as a dancer and choreographer. Recently graduated from Weber State University, Geoff has been working with local dance companies to spread mental health awareness through dance and movement. He has also been working alongside local LGBTQ organizations as a dance therapist to help youth and members of the community struggling with mental and physical illness.

 

Personal Artistic Statement:

         I am looking for answers to the world around me through exploration and evolving understanding. I believe there is a healing connection between humans and dance and hope to utilize both to create work that delves into restorative and artistic exploration. I work through movements that adventure into my ideas and evolve as I develop a better sense for what I am wanting to talk about.  In 3 words – Explorative, Evolving, Healing.
